What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ for bulk makhana is 100 kg per order. Private-label and export lots are quoted on request.

What does "suta" mean in makhana grading?

Suta is the traditional sieve-size grading used in the makhana trade. The higher the suta number, the bigger the pop: 6+ suta is jumbo (19 mm and above), while 3 suta is the smallest commercial grade.

Where does Parmita makhana come from?

All our makhana is sourced from the makhana belt of north Bihar (Darbhanga, Madhubani and surrounding districts), where most of India's makhana is grown.

Do you offer private label or custom packaging?

Yes. We can roast, flavour and pack makhana under your brand in pouches, jars or bulk bags, and help with label artwork.

Do you supply outside India?

Yes, we prepare export-grade lots with suitable packing and documentation support. Share your destination and volumes in the enquiry form.
